STUDIO SARAH-LENA FISCHER
Studio Sarah-Lena Fischer
is the space where ideas come together. It is a place for making, experimenting, and developing new work.
For me, the studio is not only a place where finished works are made. It is a space where things can develop, change, and take new forms.

About Sarah-Lena Rickert
I am Sarah-Lena Fischer, an artist and printmaker based in Hamburg/ Germany. My work explores transformation, layering, repetition, and the spaces in between.
Life consists of colors, shapes, layers, diversity, and change—it is a constant process. Every day, everything rearranges itself anew. This ongoing process of transformation is what drives me in my work.
I studied at the Bildkunst Akademie Hamburg, an academy of visual arts in Hamburg from 2010 to 2013. Since then, I have continuously developed my artistic practice, exploring the relationship between structure and openness, precision and intuition, repetition and change.
My current work combines screen printing and collage. I work with fine lines, organic forms, fragments, and recurring elements that are layered, shifted, concealed, and rearranged. Each layer becomes part of a larger composition, creating new connections and spaces. The process is intuitive as much as it is deliberate, allowing the work to evolve through repetition, variation, and transformation.
